The pilot of a plane that authorities say targeted an IRS office in Austin, Texas, left an apparent suicide note citing a Big Brother tax code. At least at first glance, Joe Stack’s views fit more into a pattern of solo attackers avenging personal beefs than a terror conspiracy.

A crazed pilot crashed his small plane into a huge office building in Austin, Texas Thursday morning after first torching his house and posting a long rant against the IRS on the internet.

The full text of the letter found on EmbeddedArt.com, a domain name registered to Joe Stack of Austin, the same name of the man who federal officials say intentionally crashed an airplane into a building.

Text from a note apparently posted online by Joe Stack, the pilot who officials say flew his plane into an Austin, TX, building housing IRS offices. The message was posted on www.embeddedart.com, a website registered to Stack.

Initial reports from Austin, Texas, indicate that it was disgruntled software engineer Joseph Andrew Stack who crashed a single-engine plane into an office building on Thursday.
